I also have a EEE PC. It has freed me from the weightier laptop that was my constant companion. Taking notes in meetings, checking emails at the cafe between meetings and outlining research results is all I need it for, and it works so well and so fast. Yes I use the other one, and its mobility it still useful, but by using these two juxtaposed I am free to live the "information any time any where" scenario and do.

Notice, that while the simple is beautiful line might actually apply to the EEE itself it does not really apply to the scenario in which people are mostly using it: as a second laptop or sometimes as a third computer. Don't get me wrong... I love the EEE and its concept, but I could never do all I do, just with it. It frees me, however, from carrying around a much heavier laptop, which is great.
