I like this Aldo. What I think that we graybeards (actually mine is coming out white :( can help with is to demonstrate to others how to listen and also how to set up circumstances where communities can express themselves in listenable ways.

Completely agree, if you mean that a community is a guru unto itself. I would not follow all communities as my guru :-)

Do you need to make a distinction between false gurus and otherwise? Seems like the role or concept of guru might mean very different things in different contexts.

And here's question for you: do gurus get lonely and need company, support, or a community to do their work? (Your picture suggests that gurus are isolates.)
